Axel was over a month old by time he was able to come see me for images. He ended up going back to the hospital for a bit and that caused the delay in getting in for newborn pictures! A chunk at 9 pounds he was wide awake as we did the pictures first with his family! His big brother and sister were pretty excited to be a part of the day! It always makes things easier when I have cooperative siblings! I will say that sometimes it doesn’t go smoothly with siblings that aren’t thrilled about the whole process. Sometimes it really is just dependent on the age of the siblings. But, I have a couple of tricks for siblings…one being my stinky dog. I guess you’ll have to book a session to see that fun trick. It always gets the kids to smile…no fail! Unless they don’t like dogs and the rude sounds they make lol.
Mom really wanted a couple of poses that Axel wasn’t going to do at his age…She knows I really tried but I always feel bad…but I love what we were able to capture! Especially the ones with his family!
Don’t delay for newborn pictures! I know some circumstances don’t allow for baby to be photographed immediately but do not fear, I promise I can handle any age! The important thing is that you capture this time as soon as possible! It goes by way too quickly!
