It was so much fun to work with this cute couple! They are so super excited to welcome their new baby soon! A little boy! This was in the middle of the summer and it was HOT! We did a very short hike to a ridge in Catalina State Park. It’s a safe area with wood steps that take you up on the ridge! I go there often and this was the very first time I nearly had a heart attack! Talking to my clients…walking along and just as I was ready to take a step I looked down and saw the biggest snake I had ever seen! It never made a peep! I cautiously stepped back and got away QUICK! With my zoom lens I got that shot! I was so close to stepping right on him! I couldn’t stop my heart from racing the rest of the session! I’m just so glad it was me that nearly stepped on him and not my clients oh gosh..
So please consider doing a indoor studio photo session for your maternity pictures! lol I don’t think I’ll be out in the desert until those critters are frozen solid this winter lol! That said…I love maternity sessions! I just have to find some safer spots haha!
